This location boasts a prominent place in Fukuoka’s coffee history: the city's first specialty coffee shop opened right where the Haruyoshi store now stands, back in 2003. Initially, it operated using beans from the Fukuoka-based roaster 'Honey Coffee,' but as the business grew, they acquired their own roasting equipment, which was later moved to the Kujira store after it opened.

In 2022, the café underwent a major renovation and was repainted in a cheerful corporate yellow. Now it has 18 seats, and the pioneering 'missionary' role of the owners compels them to keep the doors open until 1 AM. So, unlike in other cities, thanks to Manu, one can enjoy specialty coffee even at midnight in Fukuoka.
