This restaurant was opened in March 2024 by the Tanaka couple. Before this, the pizzaiolo
worked at the famous Pizzeria Napoletana Da Yuki in Kyoto and spent 3 years on Teshima Island, where he was responsible for pizza at a local VIP-level Italian restaurant.
The menu features traditional pizzas and their seasonal variations, along with salads, appetisers, a few meat dishes, and a decent selection of Italian and Japanese natural wines. The restaurant is located on the first floor of a building constructed in the traditional Kyoto 'eel's nest' style: a narrow façade leading deep into the block. Despite the layout constraints, the designer successfully arranged several tables, a corner bar counter with 4-5 seats, and even a wine cellar.
At the entrance, guests are 'greeted' by a beautiful oven that inspires trust at first glance. When you receive your pizza from it, you can’t help but wonder: how can such a simple dish be made so delicious?
