Welcome to “Nomiya Peridot” – A Hidden Gem in Nishi-Azabu, Tokyo
Tucked away on a quiet back street of Nishi-Azabu, Nomiya Peridot is a cozy 10-seat counter bar where French culinary finesse meets the relaxed atmosphere of a Japanese izakaya.

Opened in August 2024, the bar is the brainchild of Kyoko Hashimoto, a seasoned manager and sommelier with experience in Michelin-starred French restaurants in Tokyo. Here, you can enjoy small-plate comfort food—such as potato salad, karaage (fried chicken), and kinpira—beautifully reinterpreted through the lens of French cuisine.

The wine list focuses on both classic and natural wines, primarily from France. Notable bottles include selections of Champagne like Perrier-Jouët. Glass wines are offered from around ¥1,300, with a rotating lineup that changes according to the season and availability. The interior is stylish yet intimate, featuring a U-shaped counter and warm lighting with artistic touches.

Whether you’re dining alone, on a date, or looking for a relaxed second stop in the evening, Nomiya Peridot offers a refined yet welcoming atmosphere.
